The Saudi German Hospitals Group provides 300 food baskets to needy families and those with special needs
In a step that confirms its commitment to its social responsibility and its immediate and prompt response to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government to activate charitable initiatives and concerted efforts to reduce the repercussions of the Corona pandemic on society, especially the most affected groups, the Saudi German Hospitals Group presented
300 food baskets for needy families, including 130 food baskets for the Society of Friends of People with Disabilities in support of the "Good Basket" initiative. This came in cooperation and coordination between the group and the branch of the "Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development" in Riyadh, represented by Dr. Yusef Al-Sayali, the Director General. And his deputy, Professor Ali Al-Qabbani; And Professor Nouf Al-Dossary, Director of Social Responsibility, Branch. The “Good Basket” convoy started from the headquarters of the “Friends of Disabled Association” in the presence of the founders of the Association, her Highness Princess Dania Bint Abdullah, CEO of the Association; The Princess Al-Jawhara In addition to Kholoud Al-Shaya and technical supervisor Ghada Radwan.
For five consecutive days, a team of volunteers provided food baskets to the homes of the needy and disabled families to alleviate the impact of the Corona pandemic. Her Royal Highness Princess Dania Bint Abdullah expressed her appreciation for the work carried out by the "Friends of People with Disabilities" Association and thanked the people and contributors for this humanitarian effort, and commended the cooperation between the association and both the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh and the "Saudi German Hospitals Group" which supported the success of this initiative. Her Highness the Princess stressed on the necessity of concerted efforts of all from various sectors and stand by the social groups most affected by the current conditions and support them.
For his part, Mr. Makarem Sobhi Batterjee, Head of the Saudi German Hospitals Group, praised the importance of the work carried out by the “Friends of People with Disabilities Association” headed by her Highness Princess Dania Bint Abdullah, appreciating the cooperation between the Saudi German Hospitals Group and the association within the scope of the “Basket of Good” initiative . He commended the efforts made by officials and the volunteer team to make this initiative a success and deliver aid to family homes. Batterjee also expressed appreciation for the tireless work done by the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh and his great contribution to the success of the initiative, praising the efforts made by the branch officials led by Dr. Youssef Al-Sayali, general manager of the branch.
