A 70-year-old patient presented to Saudi German Hospital-Al Medina after being transferred from a public hospital. He suffered from varicella pneumonia which progressed to fulminant respiratory failure. He was admitted to the department of pulmonary medicine. He was put on mechanical ventilation. Physicists developed an effective treatment plan taking into account the patient's unique medical history. He suffered diabetes and underwent open heart surgery. Medical team performed bacterial and viral cultures, blood tests and X-rays regularly. Then, they separated the patient from mechanical ventilation. He stayed in the intensive care unit for 3 days Thanks to God, his condition improved and he left the hospital.
